A fic I decided to write after listening to "Kidnap The Sandy Claws", in both the original version and the version by She Wants Revenge. They're both awesome. :3
And why yes, I am a fan of Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas! It's an old movie and is now considered popular, but I knew about it before my entire school! >D Besides, I think Lock, Shock and Barrel are better than Jack. Haha.
This is what I have so far, which I have worked on in the past twenty minutes, and I wanted to know what you guys think about it.
Burning Bones.
A Nightmare Before Christmas fanfiction.
Pairing: Not tellin' ya!

Today was the Eve for the most awaited day of the year. He knew it since the day he recognized the days flowing by in perfect order. And, of course, this was the day when he bragged to everybody about how much loot he was going to snag tomorrow.
Lock grinned.
October thirtieth, the day before Halloween.
Ah, now where do we start, exactly? Here, I say.
Lock was known in Burton Highschool for his looks and personality. Sure, he was handsome and "hot" to the tenth grade population as well as the rest of them, but he was a prankster. He never had his grades above the average, but always managed to get them up at the last moment and pass. Fall and rise, fall and rise. Lock liked it that way.
And as he stared blankly at the chalkboard from the back of the room, he couldn't help but ponder on how excited his friends were this year.
For this year, they would top all of the costumes they had worn previously.
Sure, sure. They were always the traditional devil, witch and skeleton trio, but he felt that it would be the best time they would have tomorrow.
"Lock! Pay attention if you will!" Mr. Ficklestein barked in his worn voice. He even threw a piece of chalk at Lock, which hit the brown haired boy in the head. He just flicked the yellow dust off and smirked. "Yeah, yeah. Gotcha' Doctor." That must've hit the spot, because the teacher just turned around in his mechanical wheelchair and resumed the math problem he was writing.
Lock rolled his darkened black eyes and grinned when he caught the eye of his friend, Shock, near the front of the class. Her black hair hung loose and trailed to her shoulders, and her knowing smirk was hidden by the curtain that also hid her pale green eyes.
Lock knew she was smirking. Only because they had known each other for so long.
He had to admit, she was beautiful after all the years their trio had been together. But his response had been a 'no' when Barrel had asked if he liked her. He didn't know why he wasn't attracted to her, but he knew it was unusual.
Before Ficklestein could throw another piece of chalk at Lock for not paying attention, the bell signaled the end of class and the teen was out in a flash, black and red hoodie sweeping around the door. Shock only laughed quietly and followed him.
"Lock! Slow down!" The girl called after Lock once she left the classroom, and Lock slowed down hesitantly, but with a warm laugh. Their footsteps echoed in the hallway, since they were one of the first ones out, and they always made haste - when Lock or Barrel weren't being lectured, that is.
Speaking of which...

And yeah. That's where I have ended right now.
You'll have to wait until I can get the rest typed up tomorrow to find out what the pairing is, but I must warn you: It's a twisted one. xD
